		Karen Jeisi, principal of Gillett Associates, has an extensive background in executing large scale business restructures, leading diverse nationwide organizations, and directing complex financial, legal, and government affairs matters with significant public visibility to the corporation.

History & Focus

Gillett Associates, launched in 1981, is now in its third decade of serving corporations and professional service firms.

Corporate Direction and Strategy

Gillett Associates began by assisting multi-national corporations on corporate direction, based on Darwin Gillett’s pioneering work in strategy development processes. This service has included working with the top management teams of large corporations in setting corporate direction and shaping strategy and implementation plans. We also facilitate senior management strategy conferences.

Productivity Improvement

In the 1980s, we began providing productivity improvement services to corporate clients and their productivity teams. This has included both the development of productivity improvement strategies, counsel to leaders seeking productivity breakthroughs, and implementation support through productivity teams and management methods.

Business Process Redesign Teams

In the 1990s, we continued working with major corporations, their business unit teams and project teams, bringing in other consultants on large projects or to augment our own expertise. We partner with other consulting firms to serve their clients as well.

Much of our work is now dedicated to counseling and coaching senior executives on strategies for energizing their organizations.

Business Owner Mentoring

During the 1990s, we began working with privately held companies including professional service and high-tech firms. We help these clients develop cohesive and collaborative management teams, shape strategic direction and create competitive advantage. This service also includes mentoring business owners on leadership and business challenges.

We are in the process of presenting the learnings of the firm — illustrated by the accomplishments of our clients — in a series of publications, some of which are already available. This involves research of low profile, but high impact CEOs who want to share their learnings with others.

We also are presenting these findings in keynotes, seminars and conferences to corporations, association conferences and business school executive development programs.
