organizational performance improvement based on the
effective management of human energy systems and human
capital.
He is
also founder and president of the Institute for Human Economics, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to researching and communicating new models of managerial science for leaders of businesses and other work organizations.
Previous Positions include: Director of Corporate Planning of Hubbell Inc., a leading Fortune 500 manufacturer of electrical and electronic wiring devices and lighting equipment, where he developed the company's diversification strategy and revitalized division planning. Earlier, he led Union Carbide's two-year project that created the company's strategic and planning process integrated in the company's other planning processes. Mr. Gillett was also President and CEO of Formatron, a manufacturer of equipment for the beauty industry, where he built strategic alliances with beauty distributors. He also served as Director of Administration of a full service, 85-attorney law firm, where he revitalized the support staff, upgraded the firm's information technology, improved client service and restored profit growth.
